So…You have decided to take your MLM bus
iness online and you have set up your “make money” blog to attract leads. At first it is all exciting, ideas are pouring through you and you can’t wait to share your genius with the world wide web.
At some point ( a year, maybe a couple months, for some of us a week, lol) your ideas for blog content will become much less, you may even begin to sound repetitive in yours posts. Luckily for you, I have come up with the 3R process to help you discover fresh new content for your eager readers. Most of us probably do these things randomly already, but thinking of it as a single process with the focused objective of finding fresh content can be very effective.
- RESEARCH – Make some time to research the main point of your blog. Use your favorite search engine to find articles related to your blog content. Check the news in that field to see if there are any exciting developments or new products you can expand upon. Remember it only takes a single concept to spark a wealth of content.
- READ – Read and socially participate with other blogs in your field. This should be done regularly and you can easily pick up trends and topics of discussion that you can build upon. Word to the wise: Please read other people’s blog with an open mind. Don’t be overly critical, just try to learn and get the idea being presented. Comment honestly with the intention to help the author and future readers. This practice will allow you to see many problems faced by internet marketers in your situation which is an opportunity for content on your blog. Another bonus of this is that other bloggers will become aware of your blog. Oh yea, by the way, we ALL make grammar mistakes from time to time.
- REFLECT – One of the best places to look for valuable content for your blog is reflecting on your own experience. Think about things you have learnt, best practices you use or a good related story you can share. This can lead to really juicy content and can strengthen the trust your readers have in you.
TIP: Take good notes while going through this process and actually read over your notes from time to time. You will be surprised how many dots connect when reading back through these notes.
